Billing Cycle

The number of days between statement dates. This is generally about 25 days. Typically you will receive your credit card statements on the same day(s) each month and the billing cycle will close on the same day each month. In other words, your statement will have all charges through the 25th of the previous month. You can often change a billing cycle by calling your credit card company if, for example, you are paid on a particular day and need to adjust the cycle.
